What is Reiki? Spirit?

Spirit?

For some, this may sound spooky or fictional. The fact is that spiritual intelligence arises when we ask the question "this is it?" "is it something else other than what we are experiencing, other than our current life?" The answer is YES, it is, and we can only see it or experience it through a spiritual personal acquaintance, which (by serious practitioners) has been previously described in many countries and for 1000's years as enlightenment. It is not new. And for many has never been introduced. The truth is that our spirituality is a very essential part of ourselves that we continuously ignore. Spirituality has been translated in the western world as Mindfulness. The very first step for all of us to reach a spiritual experience is to breath and find and feel comfortable with your silence. it is training our minds to be able to enjoy the silence in our mind, relaxation in our body, listening to our breathe and our hearts. Mindfulness. At this state, is has been scientifically proven that you become a better listener, problem solver, more creative, and improves our health.


What is Reiki?

Have you ever heard the phrase “the way out is in”? It means the freedom from problems/pain is within us and not in the “out“ solutions we often seek. Common practices that help us to find the way “in” are yoga, mindfulness, meditation, gigong, kundalini yoga, etc. Well, Reiki is a fast and effortless way “in”. What really matters here is that you find the practice the resonates best with you. And you do practice.

Reiki means spiritual energy and offers you the opportunity to find and bond with your inner self (or spirit), improving your relationship with yourself and your surroundings. So, you do not need to be an experienced Buddhist monk to find that peace in your mind and relaxation in your body. If you do not have experience, you can also benefit using Reiki, until you find the practice that resonates best with you and learn how to be mindful.

What to expect from a Reiki session?

Distance Reiki Sessions: They are as efficient as personal reiki sessions. During the session, please do not drive or do something that needs your attention. Preferably, make time for yourself, lay down, relax, relax the muscles of your neck and shoulders, let them fall, and breathe using your abdomen and chest. Do not worry if you fall asleep. You will receive Reiki from the head towards your pelvis and at your back for 45-60 minutes. Enjoy!


​Reiki Sessions in person: You will relax, lying on a massage table, with your cloth on, with a blanket, listening to gentle music, and enjoying the aroma of incense scent in the background. During the session, the reiki practitioner will lay her hands very gently starting from the head and progressing towards the feet. In the end, the client will have time to wake up slowly. In total, the session will last 45-60 minutes. Enjoy!
